Centro di gravità

by

Recorded at Màgia Roja HQ between 2015 and 2018
Mixed by Pablo Miranda at La Isla
Mastered by Zlaya Hadzic
Artwork and design by Cassandra Dada

I only can recommend to put an ear into this opus, where ritual poetry and broken iterative rhythms are melting together. (The Attic, best records of 2018)

The music is quite forceful on the rhythm from time to time, but the melodic aspect is not forgotten. That makes all of this irresistible. Play loud if you have the possibility and dance like 1990 never happened. (Vital Weekly)

“Loose, but still that tight groove. Mix through or let it run for half an hour; it really doesn’t matter. For me this track has many elements that I like to see in a track. Good tribal groove, fat female vocals and a little bit of industrial. Really a horny track and the whole EP is great.” (Identified Patient on Centro di Gravitá, his favourite song of 2018 on 3voor12 interview)

Dame Area first LP. Limited edition fo 300 black vinyls. Hand-numbered. Comes with download code.

Dame Area mixes synths and live percussion, industrialism and tribalism. Their music works as a musical Rorscharch test: some people call them Tribal Wave, others Latin EBM, some say they do pure Krautrock some say that they do Industrial Postpunk.
Starting to play live and releasing their music in 2018, their incessant touring schedule has already seen them play all over Europe in the past couple of years their music. Since 2019 they also play live as a trio with Jesse Webb from Gnod/Anthroprophh at the drums/percussion.

Their music has been played in the sets of some of the bravest DJs out there including The Hacker, Cosmo, Identified Patient, Vladimir Ivkovic, Heap, Yamatsuka Eye (Boredoms) or Tommy Tokyo (Group A) among others.
